Baseboard & Casing in Orange County

Crisp, well-fitted trim is the finishing touch that separates a good remodel from a great one. Our carpenters install baseboards and door casings with precision and care.

Baseboard and door casing installation is one of the most visible elements of any interior remodel. Gaps, uneven reveals, or poorly mitered corners stand out immediately — which is why Main Street Kitchen & Flooring assigns experienced finish carpenters to every trim project.

We work with a wide range of profiles, from simple colonial and ranch styles to more elaborate craftsman and contemporary designs. Whether you are matching existing trim throughout your home or upgrading to a new profile, we source quality materials and install them to last.

Our trim work is included as part of larger remodeling projects or available as a standalone service for homeowners who want to refresh their interiors without a full renovation.

Popular Trim Profiles We Install

We carry and install a wide selection of baseboard and casing profiles to match any architectural style.

Colonial

A classic stepped profile with a traditional look. Works well in transitional and traditional home styles.

Ranch / Flat

Clean, simple lines with minimal ornamentation. Popular in modern and contemporary interiors.

Craftsman

Wide, flat casings with a square head block at the top. Authentic to bungalow and craftsman architecture.

Ogee / Cove

Curved profiles that add elegance and visual depth. Common in formal living rooms and dining areas.

Door & Window Casing

Door and window casing frames every opening in your home. A well-fitted casing with consistent reveals creates a polished, custom look that elevates the entire room.

We install flat, colonial, craftsman, and custom casing profiles. All inside and outside corners are mitered or coped for tight, professional joints.

Window casing can include a stool and apron assembly for a traditional look, or a simple wrap for a cleaner, more contemporary finish.

Our Installation Process

Step 1

Measurement & Selection

We measure all runs, calculate quantities, and help you select the right profile and material.

Step 2

Acclimation & Prep

Trim stock is acclimated to the home's humidity before installation to minimize post-paint movement.

Step 3

Cutting & Fitting

Corners are coped or mitered for tight joints. We scribe to uneven walls and floors for a flush fit.

Step 4

Caulk & Touch-Up

All gaps are caulked and nail holes filled. Work area is left clean and ready for your painter.
